McCowan fourth with MLRA at Lakeside Speedway; rain halts I-70 Speedway stop
Back in action with the series after a summer break, Dillon McCowan traveled to Lakeside Speedway (Kansas City, Kan.) on Friday afternoon with the Lucas Oil Midwest Late Model Racing Association.
Starting on the pole of his heat race, McCowan tripped back to third which relegated him to the ninth-starting spot in the A-Main. With a $5,000 prize on the line, Dillon made up five spots to land inside the Top-5 in fourth.
Saturday's event at I-70 Speedway (Odessa, Mo.) was rained out.
McCowan is currently fourth in the series point standings.
