McCowan Fourth in Springfield Modified Action

Dillon McCowan returned to the driver's seat of a Modified on Saturday night with a trip to Springfield (Mo.) Raceway.

Eighteen entries were on hand for the $2,066-to-win program.

After starting and finishing sixth in his heat race Dillon was pinned deep in the feature starting grid in the 16th position. He mounted a great charge in the feature moving forward 12 spots to finish fourth behind Terry Phillips, Tyler Wolff, and Tanner Mullens.
